Leroque electrique

EP "Damaged Heart"

"5 slices of pure electro-pop, ranging from ballad to dancefloor but never letting go of exquisite songwriting, Damged Heart asks with a clear and honest voice those questions that may start in teenage but never seem to go away: "Am I in love with you? How could I get to know you?" You'll be asking the same questions after discovering this impressive and touching debut EP."

"„Iput my face between your tits and I go: booboobooboo”. Bass,Wabern, Wummern.

d.b. Leroque

a.k.a. Leroque electrique has been making music since she was a teenager growing up in the bleak industrial heart of South West Germany. d.b. gained experience playing lead guitar in the studio and live with the widest variety of small-time bands throughout Europe. She wanted to go for more and studied guitar at the Hoogeschool for Muziek and Dans Rotterdam and at the Hochschule für Musik Köln. While studying the guitar she remarked that her heart was beating more and more especially for songwriting and musicproduction.

d.b. Leroque won the song writing contest (by the name Monique Leroque) sponsored by EMI, AOL and MTV with her song “My Heart is Gone” which was premiered in front of a large audience of music industry professionals at the PopKomm Berlin in 2004. d.b. continued to concentrate on song writing and started to produce her music and lyrics under the name Leroque electrique. She performs as lead singer and guitarist live with her band members Wolfram Burgtorf and Benedikt Hoelker.
